Welcome to notice, gently!

An intro to the new podcast!
2

Hello, all!

I’ve decided to expand my creative endeavors a bit, and dip my toes over into the podcasting world. (Oooo lala!)

However, I’m embracing the fact that a podcast can be anything and everything, as I’ve noticed a perfectionist part wants this to be just right. A subtle internal pressure emerged, to make it “more professional” before I shared anything — to have a better microphone, create a theme song, and to add background music too, of course.

As awesome as those qualities are, I simply want to create and share short voice memos of love. I remind myself softly, that the rules are made up. Art is whatever we make it to be, and as its core, art is simply an expression of ourselves. It is an extension of our heart, our souls; the love that we are and seek to share with the world. Perhaps one day I’ll buy a microphone, and perhaps one day I’ll decide to add background music. But for now, I’m leaning in to the energy of: “hell yea, this is good enough!

That being said — welcome! I am so happy you are here. This podcast will feature poems, short reflections, spoken essays; mostly, voice memos of love. There will be episodes available for both free and paid subscribers, and I will follow a rhythm of alternating every other post as paid or free.

I hope you find solace, softness, and safeness in this little digital corner of the world.

Together, may we journey into gentleness.

With big love,
Sydney
